Following the right things

As of late and in the past, I have been known to chase people who do not want to be chased, pursue people who do not want to be pursued, and above all, chase relationships that were never meant to last or meant to be. 

It hurts when relationships, whether it be friendships or love interests, do not go as I would like. But, I am done chasing people who do not want to make an effort to be part of my life. I wasn't put on this earth to be miserable, because that's Satan's plan. I was put on this earth to be tested, be happy, and above all, become more like my Heavenly Father and my Savior, Jesus Christ. 

I choose this day to only pursue those people who make a good effort to be a part of my life and above all, I choose this day to always make an effort to be happy, even if things aren't going my way because that is what my Heavenly Father wants me to do because I am his daughter and he wants me to be happy. 

Dating opinions

Okay, so I've hit that point where one of my male best friends has gotten a girlfriend. What's so bad about that? Well, nothing really, except for the fact that he hangs out with her 24/7 and completely ignores his other friends, especially those who he's known for longer than he's known his girlfriend, let alone has dated her. It's frustrating because I used to be able to talk to him about things that have been going on in my life and ask for advice; now I can't do that because he devotes all of his time and energy to his girlfriend and his girlfriend's friends. While I agree that when you are dating someone, most of your attention and energy should be devoted to them, but I don't think that they should do that if it is at the expense of ignoring friends.
